punished members of our family for using these special plants. So severe was this backlash from the
government that the psychedelic movement was put to a stop and again our way of life was driven
underground.
The end of the psychedelic movement did not bring an end to our spiritual hunger. Surviving members of our
family have preserved the knowledge of the mushroom and made way for a new generation. Hungry children
are joining our family and are once again spreading the wisdom of the sacred plants. We call ourselves
FLESHCAP.
The children grow hungry…
...feed the family.
For thousands of years and countless generations our family has
maintained a spiritual relationship with the plants that grow around us.
They provide food for when we are hungry, heal us when we are sick, and
most importantly guide us through this journey we call life.
Those who do not understand our way of life have tried to destroy our
timeless connection to the plants. The first assault on our family occurred
nearly 500 years ago when the missionaries deemed our sacred
mushroom to be evil. As a result, members of our family were persecuted
and our religion was driven into the underground and kept secret for over
400 years.
It was not until the middle of the 20th century during a spiritual movement
that the sacred plants were rediscovered. As information about the plants
spread our family quickly grew in size. This spiritual awakening came to be
known as the psychedelic movement.
